In the midst of planning a work holiday party, we weren't quite sure what to order for catering. A friend of mine kept seeing this restaurant pop up on the Memorial FB page as a must try and so we decided to give it a go! We stopped in for lunch one day and got the chicken and lamb shawarmas which came with a side of fries and some hummus. As we waited for our food, I could tell that this was a family owned business and I believe the whole family was in there working! We had a little bit of a wait bc we came in behind a large group, which I knew that meant it had to be good, but the owner and I believe his daughter were so sweet, and apologized for the wait! The wait was worth it! The food was so delicious and well flavored. I loved my chicken shawarma and the sauce they had on there with the pickles! The fries were seasoned and nicely crisp, and the hummus had a smooth texture to it. I personally love a red bell pepper hummus, so I'd love if they could offer more flavors in the future. My friend also let me try her lamb and it was delicious as well, thinly shaven meat and it just melted in my mouth! We decided that this would be the place we'd use for our catering. The owner was so helpful and gracious! We ordered for 30 people so he made recommendations on what to get, we went with the chicken, beef and lamb shawarma and falafel as well with a salad and hummus with pita! There was a lot of food and everyone really enjoyed it. The food was packed in time for our pickup and just hearing how grateful the owner was just made our day and our tummies!! read more
