They happily greeted us at opening, and were greeted by the very kind owner who walked us through exactly where he sources his oil, how he picks his different oils, and then treated us to a fantastic lunch covered in his extremely high end oils.
The highlight was the local figs, feta and heirloom tomato appetizer. All 3 were amazing, and he covered them in a delicious black-olive olive oil that really came through in a fantastic way.
We also got a delicious pesto pasta with homemade pasta and (you guessed it) high end olive oil. This was quite good as well.
The owner was extremely kind, the service was fast and pleasant, and he truly looked to enjoy sharing his craft. It's a small homey restaurant on a crowded part of old town, but don't let that scare you away, definitely worth stopping by when you're in Nice! read more
