It takes a lot of patience and a keen eye to find that perfect piece. Shopping at consignment shops might not be for everyone but fashion gets recycled and it is these places where you can find some of the original style from past decades. I once dated this rock-n-roll guy and every time I commented on his cool style he always said...I found it in a thrift or consignment store. I get giddy when I find a piece that fits my sense of style. Today was one of those days...a dark denim A-Line skirt with a zipper in the front. The only one hanging and in my size!! I also tried on a pink top that caught my eye but was hesitant until the cashier, Danni, said she liked it on me when she saw me trying it on. Sold! Everything is neatly sorted by size and different types of clothing. Ex: tops, shorts, jeans, pants, jackets, shoes, athletic wear, etc. Danni told me that the owner is very particular about accepting clothes that are in great condition only. There are always new pieces coming in every week and I look forward to dropping by again the next time I am in the area. I found the prices to be very reasonable. read more
