First, let me start with the family who was also getting Hibachi tonight (10/9) at 5:00. Specifically the woman/mom. You really need to realize that your actions are being watched by your little ones. Some of the things I heard from you this evening while making sure that every person around you could hear & also not enjoy their meal was mortifying. Your husband even tried to get you to lower your voice at one point. You definitely could've handled that much better. As you & I had our heated discussion after you berated every employee you could & I couldn't take it anymore, then I watched your daughter & son mimic me & even talk back... you should be very ashamed. Every nasty thing you said about the staff or myself your children loudly repeated. Honestly, I hope you teach them kindness as well. I would NEVER allow my children to not only act that way, but talk to another adult like that. And my children are not angels at all. But they know they cannot treat others the way you were. Your waiter had nothing to do with your experience with the cook, but you didn't mind proudly announcing that you will not be tipping. Shame on you. It's clear you never worked in the food industry & honestly I hope you don't eat out often. No human being deserves to be treated like that. PERIOD.
Second: to the manager this evening, our waiter & the hibachi chef. THANK YOU! We had a wonderful time as always. You were all very kind & gracious. Even when being treated as poorly as you were. You all held your composure, apologized & made sure to try & calm this unruly customer. I worked in a restaurant for 17+ years & I think that was handled beautifully considering the nasty, abusive & absolute horrible things being said to you or about you. Well done.
