While on a mission to find a killer, Italian sammy on a Sunday afternoon, I quickly realized most of the places on my list were closed. So after a quick yelp search, we came across @oscarsdenver inside @leeverslocavore on 38th in the LoHi area. And HOLY CRAP, I am so glad we found this place!! this little deli was tucked inside the market, we ordered several sandwiches and then sat at the bar where we could get coffee and beer!! My favorite sandwich turned out to be the most simple of the three! The hot ham and swiss, a new addition to their menu and, oh my God... SOOO GOOD!! Packed with flavor, this little guy also has voodoo potato chips inside! Which, if you're anything like me and grew up putting potato chips inside your sandwich, was the most amazing part! The Italian Sando was super delicious! I wish the bread was just a tiny bit softer, but other than that, no complaints. I have never been a fan of Rubens, maybe because I don't particularly like sauerkraut... But my friend ordered their Ruben and now I'm a believer! It was a bit on the salty side, and from what I understand, a little light on the dressing. But I really liked it!! So yeah, be sure to add this little sleeper spot to your list of places... Especially on a Sunday! read more
