Lovely resort on the main drag of Banff. Room spacious and clean with a balcony. Nice bathroom items. Plushy robes. Has wonderful sauna, fitness area, and outdoor hot pools surrounded by fire pits and lounge chairs. (My personal opinion on gas fire pits: superfluous at best and nasty at least. Why bother with these on a hot sunny day? They spew out unpleasant gassy odors. Wasteful. I get it at night time, but why during day?)
They do a bougie coffee service where you fill out a chit specifying what kind of coffee or tea you want and it gets delivered to your room. Then you make your own pour over. However the delivery service never happened for me even tho I dropped off the chit. I still had to go to front desk daily to get supplies. No big deal but I imagine annoying for front desk if everyone doing this.
Close to lots of stuff and about a 20 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants are. It's on a bus line and you get free bus tix but the times are VERY unreliable so you can wait a long time for a bus.
Parking in garage is free.
It's a very nice hotel. read more
