Majestic might be a slight stretch, but I could see myself taking a slight detour to stop in here from time to time. This little convenient store is a few blocks off of US 1 which is a little off the beaten path, but if customer service is part of your decision making process this is one you should bookmark. I'm not saying they'll always have the best prices and I understand this always plays a part of it but you will get more of the hometown experience that's virtually impossible to find these days. I came upon this little gem the morning before Hurricane Mathew arrived in New Smyrna Beach after stopping at just about every store within a 5 mile radius of my home with no luck finding ice, as fate would have it a contractor over heard my request at another convenient store. He stated the owners of Outpost Majestic had planned ahead and had ordered extra bags of ice to ensure his customers were taken care of, even though the extra stock was running out the door he did allow me to purchase 8 - 10 lb. bags at the everyday price (no gouging) now I would of probably gladly paid three times the normal price as would have many other but it wasn't necessary that's how neighbors help neighbors. read more
