The place is in a small town of 5600 people, Kermit, TX. You would not think the place boasted Chinese food by its outside decor.
The staff seem eager to please and quick to seat you. Picking up your plates quickly is another matter. We eat slow and the plates still stacked up beside us & were not picked up. Although the young man did pass our table several times.
I did finally see why the young man could not pick up our plates, he was spending too much time on his phone messaging.
A smiling young lady came by and finally picked up our plates.
The building is quite old, the linoleum is buckled and in need of a good cleaning. They have a variety of tables and chairs in various states of deterioration.
Much of the art, hangings and lights needed dusting and several lights did not work.
The dim lighting caused me to wonder how clean the table tops were.
The buffet tables sit in the entrance way as you walk in. Seating is to the left in another room.
The food is passable, nothing exciting. Want Chinese in a small town, not bad, I suppose.
Wish I had used the restroom when first we arrived. I would not have eaten there. Dirty would not totally describe the dirt in the rest room. Cleaning is a definite issue here and needs to be desperately addressed. Broken toilet paper holder and some of the wall broken also.
