We wanted to get out for a non-traditional Christmas Eve dinner and try Chinese food so we selected this place, which was not the best decision.
The only positives were the food was served hot and the young lady behind the counter provided outstanding, friendly service.
We ordered the following appetizers:
Shrimp Toast: We took one bite and in the trash it went, seemed extremely greasy and was not appealing at all.
Crab Rangoon: These were good, especially dipped in the sweet/sour sauce.
Steamed Dumplings: These were also very good dipped in the sauce.
Our Dinners:
Chicken with Garlic Sauce: Nice portion size and the flavor was a bit different but the chicken was suspect, which was pushed to the side and the rice and veggies seemed fresh. The chicken was a little stiff while other pieces were rubber like consistency.
Chicken and Broccoli: Same as above, did not eat the chicken but the rice and broccoli were decent.
General Tso Chicken: Very nice flavor but had a good bit of breading on it and it had some bite from the spices which was nice, this dinner seemed okay.
Spare Ribs: The rice was fine but very strange flavor on the meat, it was questionable to say the least. Needless to say after 1 piece it was trashed.
The seating was fine for a small takeout place, clean tables. Several folks came in for takeout orders.
The pricing was normal for Chinese Food.
We feel there has to be better places for Chinese in the area, we can not endorse stopping here !
