Have you ever gone to Noli or Wild Duck, and said to yourself: "This is the most delicious, al-dente, fresh pasta I've ever eaten"? If so, you're already a fan of Pasta Plus! Pasta Plus has the most amazing fresh pasta I've ever eaten. They make it all right here in Eugene, and you can buy it straight from them (fresh or vacuum packed) or at any Market of Choice in town. They apparently sell it up in Portland too, though I'm not sure where. The fresh pasta is about $4.50/pound if I recall correctly, and it's worth every cent. If you go straight to their downtown location you can buy the fettucine, spaghettini, etc fresh, by the pound, along with pasta sauces like pesto and mushroom cream. They have at least one special flavor each week as well, which includes herb, spinach, and I think a red pepper variety.They also make a beautiful sausage lasagna that's usually in stock in their freezer, as well as ravioli, if you'd like an easy meal to go. Show up on one of their production days (Mon and Wed) and you'll the pasta chefs in the back kneading, pressing and cutting the pasta!
