This place just opened this week in the Mtn. View Plaza shopping center in the location where Abby's Cafe was located. The name raised my curiosity so we went in and checked the place out for breakfast yesterday. It turns out that this is the same owner that had Patsy's Cafe in San Jacinto and still operates a couple of other local restaurants locally. Patsy's in San Jacinto was quite good and so is this new East Hemet location. If you liked Patsy's in San Jacinto, you'll like this one too. I had sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuit and gravy. The sausage patty had great flavor and it was not over done. My scrambled eggs were just right and the biscuit was fresh and gravy was awesome. My coffee cup stayed full and our waitress was attentive and friendly. We are happy that they chose a location in East Hemet to reopen one of the better diners in our Valley. I personally recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys diner type foods. read more
