I am visiting from out of town. It is obvious this is one the locals favorite spots. The decor looks like an old school hamburger joint. It was nice. I still like the swivel seats. There was a line inside when we got there but the ordering went fairly fast. We were taking our food to go since we also had groceries. Isn't that always the way it works?!? As soon as you buy groceries, your first meal is take out. I decided to go for the Friday Fish and chips special. There were 3 crispy pieces. They were good but I was missing the tartar sauce and malt vinegar in my to go order. That kind of killed my excitement for ordering it. I ended up eating my fish with the extra side of ranch I bought. It was good but I felt like I was masking the flavor of the fish. The fries were good. We dipped them into our ranch. The ranch is good and thick. The 1/4 lb. burger is pretty small. We wondered if we got a jr by mistake. The burger was good but not sure it was worth the price. I'd probably try something different if we came back for both the burger and the fish. read more
