Performance Computing is without a doubt the best computer-help service in the area. If you need any assistance, this is the place you go to. This is the first time I've ever written a Yelp review because, by God, this place deserves all the recognition it can get. -----OTHER SERVICES IN COMPARISON----- If you're thinking about consulting geek-squad or any other "large corporation" esque PC tech-help for computer problems or recomendations, don't. Their prices are over-inflated and they just give you the bare-bones necessities after repairing and say "good luck." -----PRICE----- Let's talk about price, as it's expected to be fairly costly to get someone to even diagnose whats wrong with something. Not here though. You don't get charged for diagnosing the problem with your pc, and overall, theres no suprises in terms of expensive part replacement. He will warn you of anything ahead of time, and overall, he's highly considerate when it comes to the theoretical price to simply repair something or to upgrade it and make it last for life. -----SERVICE----- Performance Computing got my problem fixed and got me in-and-out within about an hour. The man there is EXTRODINARILY friendly and intelligent with computers and laptops, and does all of the repair in front of you while explaining anything you need to keep your computer healthy. I stepped into P.C. knowing little to nothing about Computer upkeep and walked out feeling educated. -----LOCATION----- I initially had some trouble finding the place as I was unfamiliar with the area, but getting there really is no trouble at all, this is just here if you get lost frequently such as me. P.C. is located inside another building harboring a slew of other small businesses (I forgot the name of the building itself, it's a large brick corner building with the word "square" in it). The list of businesses in it are on the side and on the wall when you go in. P.C. is in room 9 on the basement floor. And yes, an elevator is readily available. If you have any issue with a computer you can't solve yourself, there's no "if's" "and's" or "but's" about it, YOU GO HERE! There's no beating around the bush, no predatory business practices, and no suprise charges. My biggest regret is not knowing of this place sooner, as soon as he set down your pc and unscrews the shell you can tell you're in good hands.
