I was trying to find someone to create a sidewalk out in front of my house, but was not having much luck contacting anyone. ShawnnaP recommended Performance Paving, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did! With a paved brick driveway and a massive slope to it, this past winter was a deathtrap trying to keep it shoveled and/or sanded. And when an eavestrough pulled away from the house, constantly dumping water on the front walk (and only way up to the front porch), I was in a spot. The paved brick front walk was also overrun with weeds and looked awful. I decided cutting a massive sidewalk from the front walk directly to the front door would be the best way to handle the problem. I also had a ramshackle, falling apart, raised flowerbed alongside the garage that needed to go. I took care of that (also venting lots of frustration over the last 2 years as I did it), then showed them what I wanted to happen. The guys were super efficient, friendly, and respectful. They cleaned up the tons of trashcans I'd had to fill with dirt from the raised flowerbed, and too them to the Eco-Centre for me too. I was impressed from the get-go. They followed my instructions to the letter, with a stair, then a landing, and a stair, then a landing creating a nice sinuous curve of a sidewalk that connects to the driveway and also to a new front walk. It looks FANTASTIC! The neighbours are totally impressed and I met more in one day commenting on it than I had the previous 6 months I'd been in the house. It really classes up the place! Some even stopped to ask what company they were while they were here, and they were able to hand out some business cards. Will definitely use them again if I need more done.
