We've decided to check out this new mediterranean restaurant that had only been open for a few weeks.
The were plenty of options on the menu. Since we weren't sure what to order, we decided to go with the Pharoah's Mixed Gyro Feast. It's a family platter with shaved lamb/beef/chicken gyro over rice, and comes with hummus, pita and your choice of salad. It was pretty good value, and there seems to be enough food for 2-3 people.
The gyro and rice was amazing. The meat was tasty and had a nice 'bounce' to it. We got the tabbouleh for the salad and it was very good as well.
The owner gave us some complimentary pistachio baklava to try, and it tasted fresh, crunchy and delicious - some of the best we've had.
The staff was friendly, but they're still working out some kinks in the service when we visited.
The restaurant is not fancy but has adequate seating for small and medium sized groups.
We look forward to coming back to try the other dishes on their menu. read more
