A unique and authentic Hanoi pho that's available as a pop-up restaurant (since Dec. '24) inside Vera Caffe in the corner of Main St. and Center Ave. of Fort Lee. The owner of Vera Cafe hopes to open a pho restaurant in the future, and they would do well to do so! There's no other pho in the area that tastes like theirs. (Tasted very similar to the pho my brother makes at home once in a while.) Unfortunately, for now, they only have two options on the menu -- the Special Chicken Pho and the Pho with Rare and Well-Done Beef, both $17.99. Wish they had a Veggie Pho option (hopefully, they'll expand to make it in the future!).
Food takes a while to come out; expect to wait about 20 minutes. And there isn't much space inside... But it's definitely still worth the visit!
Also, since they're still technically "Vera Cafe", you can buy their cute teddy drinks or cookies! My husband and I tried their "Stwaberry" (intentional or not? haha) and Mugwort cookies. I was appalled by how much food coloring was on the strawberry cookie, but it was actually pretty good! They were soft and thick, almost like eating a soft scone. The mugwort was a huge letdown because I love all things mugwort... It just didn't have much flavor.. However, next time, I want to try their Lemon Earl Grey cookies!! Muahaha read more
