We were in the area for dinner and family suggested this restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was very accommodating to seat a large group quickly. I ordered a blended durian smoothie, an order of shrimp salad rolls and a green onion cake.
The durian smoothie was a tad on the watery side, but tasted as what I would expect. The salad rolls were average. They consisted of lettuce, noodles and shrimp. There was a generous amount of peanut sauce. The onion cakes were also average. I saw it all over Edmonton at different restaurant menus and finally decided to try it. It was a freshly fried. There was barely any green onion and just tasted okay. I did not understand the popularity. I think I need to try a few more options elsewhere to compare as I was underwhelmed.
Service was efficient and food arrived quickly. No complaints on the service. There was ample parking in the plaza. read more
