A man had a dream. He wanted to share his beer with his friends. He invited his neighbors over to help him make some beer to share and thus the story of the Pickett Brewing Company started. He partnered with a neighbor and friend and thus their journey began. In spite of all the turns and obstacles in their way, they persevered and finally opened. Covid was not going to stop them from achieving their dream. After years of building up from scratch, they finally opened up this week.
My family went there this Saturday and we tried every beer they offered. The very last beer we tried was called the Totally Drinkable. It was last because of its dubious name. The word is the Owner was not satisfied with the taste but his friends convinced him it was totally drinkable and honestly, it was totally drinkable. Not sure why he wasn't satisfied with it but everyone has different taste.
The setting is not overly pretentious. It is just a good comfortable environment to relax and have fun with friends and family. They do not serve food at this place but you are totally welcomed to bring your own food. We chose some CM Chicken because, you know, Korean chicken and beer is a thing these days. Anyway, we had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again soon.
PS: for full disclosure, I know the co-owner. read more
