Have a Frosty One Locally-owned mom-and-pop ice cream shop that serves up Maine's most famous ice cream, Giffords®. The Good: *More than just ice creams, as they also have lobstah rolls, fries, and glizzies! Didn't try so can't comment but the pics look good. *Great selection of ice cream flavors, as well as yummy soft serve. *I don't recall the prices, but I remember it being very inexpensive. However, please note we're from the SF Bay Area, so everything seems cheap to us fml *Fantastic outdoor picnic areas to eat and look at the beautiful lake. The Meh: *Service was a bit aloof, but we were there at the end of the shift, so probably just the end of the day grumps. Regardless, it was fine. *No waffle cones, just standard cake cones. :( *Cash only The Ugly: *Like many businesses here in Rangeley they're only open seasonally from May - Octoberish (check their FB page for updates) Conclusion: A damn fine place to get your ice creams and a view.
