This is not a professional service. Clients and applicants beware of car salesman tactics. It is understandable that recruiters need work heavily on the phone and have a set script. This does not mean you repeat the same question 4 times different ways in less than 10 minutes, when it was answered already. It demonstrates poor skill and hinders communication with a potential client. Separately, as a person who deals with MM portfolios my tip would be to not present yourself are the recruiter, then manager when a client wants to escalate the call. Who knows any longer on the phone I hear you are VP as well.
My guess is this is a smaller operation with less than desirable tactics. Clearly a bad day for this recruiter as a large account just walked away.
I wish potential job candidates the best of luck when dealing with them and preferable that you work directly with your future employer. read more
