We had an early dinner at Piper's Rest after our walking tour along Hunters Square. The food and service were outstanding and the ambience is wonderful. Warm, friendly staff and in the middle of everything, are just a few words to describle The Piper's Rest. The menu provides definitions of Scottish words, ghost, witches, the bagpiper boy and other stories including The Death Coach of the Royal Mile, songs and other fascinating facts about the pub and the area. A must place to eat when in Edinburgh (Hunters Square at Royal Mile).
We had a great experience here and will highly recommend. read more
