PIT STOP is an appropriate name because this auto mechanic in Cary, NC is definitely the PITS. They have not been legit with the NC Sec of State since Jan. 2005. They show "Admin. Dissolved" as they very well should be. I took my car to them after my catalytic converter had been stolen from my Toyota Avalon XLS and they robbed me again. After four, YES 1-2-3-4, times my car was actually worse than I began. Carbon monoxide was seeping into my car when I press the gas really hard which I had to do many times to make my car go as it noisily rattled, hesitated and jerked down the road. After a so-called "repair" my car's check engine light would turn on again less than a mile away. It got so the owner, Tim Robinson, would not take my calls. I even have him on tape admitting to doing a "shoddy" job and promising to fix it and make it right. He never did. That little guy is all talk. I got a "real" ASE-certified mechanic to diagnose and fix my car in a day and a half. After a few months, it's still driving very good. No thanks to Tim, Pit Stop. What the pits! I sued him and won. He had to repay the money I paid him plus Court costs with no argument from the Judge.
