We had a very good experience here. This was between our hotel near the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We stopped in for drinks and shared a pizza.
We were drawn in by the 5 euro cocktail sign. I made the mistake of ordering an aperol one instead of campari (which is what I had in my brain). Now it was a perfectly fine refreshing drink if one likes super sweet neon-orange drinks. My bad as I prefer a more bitter campari-like experience, but that was totally my fault. Certainly they are not mind-readers when I couldn't even read my own.
Husband had a beer (birra) for 3 euro and we shared a bottled water for 4 euro. For our pizza, we ordered an anchovy, zucchini blossom one and it was very good, and not expensive at 10 euros. Good in its simplicity. Zucchini blossoms don't have a lot of flavor but anchovies sure do. Would have loved to have a bit of tomato sauce on it also, but it was a white pizza.
For two euros more each, we had espresso and they brought us a big bowl of delicious amaretti meringue cookies. read more
