I feel compelled to write an honest review seeing how the majority of the reviews online are from people related to the management company and not actual tenants. Let's start with price. The place is way above market price compared to anything in the area. They advertise that it's "luxury living", but the building is all a facade. It looks nice on first glance, but once you live it in awhile you realize how cheap everything is. From appliances to building construction all expenses were seemingly spared. A luxury apartment in my experience would have basic sound proofing and there is none here. Meaning you basically can hear your neighbors every move which becomes rather obnoxious the longer you stay. When it rains, the hallways collect rainwater leaving a small river for you to walk through. I could go on, but you get the point. The crime is outrageous in the area, and I say that having lived on the South Side of Chicago and in Los Angeles and it's beyond anything I could have imagined. Knowing that may be an issue, one of the main reasons I choose to live here was the "secure garage." The garage is not secure by any common definition of the word. The management even went to the length of removing "secure" from their website and replaced it with "gated" since I brought it to their attention. I think this speaks volumes about their intentions and overall care for residents safety. I've regularly found doors pried open or just left wide open so security is a major problem. There was supposedly a dog washing station, but the dog washing station is a simply a hose in the garage. All in all, they put on a good sell as it's designed to look appealing and get you to sign a lease. Don't be suckered into it. On top of that, they will require a three month termination fee if you decide to terminate. One month is pretty standard, three months is unheard of. I recommend looking elsewhere, you can find much better for the money. read more
