This is how an arcade should reinvent itself. We were glad to find this Playdium location in Whitby years after the original Square One location closed. The arcade space here is massive featuring many games as well as an elevated rope course and several air hockey tables. We took advantage of the $20 eat up game on deal for kids to have a meal and 1 hr all-you-can-play which can be activated after the meal is eaten to maximize the fun including claw machines. Card fee is extra but can be recharged via a prior game card. There is a large dining space in addition to the party runs ideal for group gatherings. The kids meals were huge, including large pizza slices or burgers that came with fries and a pop drink. Suffice to say our group had a great time at Playdium Whitby for several hours. We miss the old batting diamond at the OG location but this reinvention with Cineplex targets younger kids. Skip it or hit it? Playdium is once again a great place to play and we're glad they're popping up all over the GTA including at this Whitby location. read more
