Feels like this place is getting smaller and smaller. Is it because I'm getting bigger? Don't think so. I've been the same size for a bit now. Part of it is the newer construction of the Axis apartments nearby. More residents very close by. And a very densely populated section. Honestly, I think folks are parking their cars here at the park. And that's fine, until it's not. This park has NEVER had this many vehicles here. Not during softball season nor soccer season. Never. The kicker: park is still empty. There are cars parked along the park side of Cowell Blvd which NEVER happened before. (Grumpy semi-long term Davis resident side coming out.) Still a pretty empty park because no one really uses it 99% of the time. Even if it does feel smaller. read more
