This place has a lot of good reviews. Still we can only report what our viewpoint is and today we visited this restaurant after a music event. We did take several photos which I'll also post. It is difficult to rate this place because it presents as a modern upbeat place to enjoy unique food. Rating it just 3 stars tells you that the food is okay but just did not hit the spot. First, it was busy and that had us excited as busy places usually reveal awesome food. But for us not today! I ordered the basic. This was eggs, potatoes, a meat (I picked polish sausage), arugula and ciabatta (a thin Italian bread). The ciabatta was flat and hard to eat even with the supplied butter. The potatoes were dry and just okay. The eggs were nicely done. The sausage was spicy and a bit over cooked. It was tasty and unique but simply off to my liking. The arugula was a small amount with tomato bits and this was decent if a rather small amount. Overall my meal was disappointing. Another meal was a turkey panini again made with flat ciabatta. It had a side of a Caesar salad. The greens were nice but the Caesar dressing was more like a vinaigrette as reported by those eating it. Now all of this food was decent enough. It's edible but for us it missed the boat. Another at our table ordered some sort of a wrap with sweet potato fries. That looked good but I did not sample it. It is tough to say I'm not likely returning but the menu suggests there can be some good meals here. So we might return and hope for the best next time though I wouldn't count on it. Thankfully the service was fine and the place was clean and attractive. read more
