Acova's ambiance is warm, inviting and modern. The service is exceptional--our server Meghan was not only friendly, she went out of her way to give us sunscreen (that she carries with her)--we sat outside and I was getting sunburned on my back and shoulders and my stepson on his face and neck--her generosity made out outdoor experience more enjoyable. Now for the food: we love and appreciate how many GF options they have (almost everything). We started with the cinnamon roll--my stepson really liked, and the espresso-lico my partner and I had was very tasty! For brunch/lunch my partner really enjoyed the Bistro Steak Wrap w/sweet potato fries , my stepson loved his Acova Burger he ordered. I originally ordered the Sourdough French Toast (GF) --which unfortunately was a disappointment (and I was craving French Toast)! Apparently, due to the mascarpone on one side of the bread the only "French Toast" looking side (and slight taste) of this brunch dish was that side--the other looked and tastes like untoasted bread--which tasted nothing like French Toast! I definitely would not recommend this brunch dish if you are GF--maybe this might be better if you don't have a GF (celiac) allergy? However, the manager Ryan was eager (and very kind) to make things right. After the second French Toast arriving the same way as before, Ryan suggested the Buffalo Chicken Wrap (GF)--which comes out as three Buffalo Chicken Tacos--which I devoured--sooooo delicious!!!! Regardless if you are GF, have celiac disease or love gluten, Acova has hit the jackpot for accommodating both without loosing the flavor (other than the French Toast) --I do recommend this restaurant. Thanks again Meghan and Ryan! read more
