Reverse Osmosis Recycling!!! YES!!! I just moved into the area was told the water in the pool at my new home was really bad... "dead" they called it. We were told we had no choice but to drain and refill which had me concerned. I spoke to the water company to find out if this was even possible with the water restrictions and how i'd have to fill 1/2 of the pool before the meter was read and 1/2 after it was read or I'd probably go over my water allowance which would be very expensive. I also was worried about my pool "popping" - don't google that because it'll make you so paranoid. It was turning into a total nightmare of how the heck am I going to do this and the multiple days i'd have to coordinate everything to make it happen. Not long before I was about to undertake this certain misery I came across a Facebook post about this and it brought some hope. I did some research and called and spoke to Rick. I literally can't tell you how happy I am that I did that! He was able to come out within a matter of days to recycle our horrible water and made my life so much easier. He was friendly and answered probably 100 questions I had... even some about my pool equipment that I wasn't sure how to use. He's so kind and patient... great with my dogs too! He had good communication, was on time to set up and to unhook it. He hooked up his trailer with it's own power source and ran a couple hoses inside my pool (an intake and a return), set it all up and was done fairly quickly before leaving. The trailer has it's own wifi I guess and transmits real-time data to him so he can make adjustments during the day while gone, etc. Really neat technology in my opinion. The trailer ran from about noon through about 6 a.m. the next morning (18 hours). Usually it takes less than that from what I understand but our pool water was seriously the worst! It wasn't green but was off the charts for most everything. Because I felt unsure before doing this I had my water analyzed by another company before and after. Rick also did a before and after pool water analysis just so you know. I was happy to find that he was honest and my outside source detailed analysis showed amazing results... better than tap water (exactly as Rick had told us). I'm excited that this new technology and Rick literally made my life so simple. He turned a big daunting task into almost nothing. I have so much going on anymore and he lifted a huge burden from me and I'm happy to let everyone know that this is legit! RECYCLE YOUR WATER!!! It's better than tap water anyways! It cost, what I calculate, to be about the same as if I had refilled... maybe even a little less. But what it saved me in headaches and migraine medicines was priceless. ;) I'm a huge fan now and will always do this. Plus, as an additional thought, since the water level of the pool never changes it also helps keep the plaster good by not letting it dry out while emptying and refilling. It also can prevent pool popping (don't google that... seriously! haha). Most of all it saved a hugeeee amount of water, and here in California it's such a precious resource. My pool water is so sparkly and soft and amazing now!!! I didn't notice how dull it was before. Yuck! We tested our pool water a bit ago after adding in some chlorine and a little bicarbonate as needed, and everything is perfect! In all fairness, as the brine discharges it's replenished by your own tap water so there is about a 15% water usage on your end. Thank you Rick! We will call you back in a few years and do this again. I've even posted on my Facebook and lots of people were interested and asking questions. It's a great technology and I appreciate all your kindness and knowledge. read more
