They installed a toilet and a shutoff water valve that I supplied in our master bedroom upstairs. I did the toilet paper technique on the valve and it was wet. Jonathan said it was water left over from the insulation.
He had to return the next day to fix it. He then inspected my out door water regulator and tested the pressure and it was at 70 psi. He told me I need a new one. He told me I could reduce the pressure by screwing in the screw Clock wise. The pressure went up to 90 psi. When he left I noticed there was a chip out of our granite top vanity about 7/16" long. He must of had the wrench in the palm of his hand as he leaned against it and stood up. I found the chip in the trash. He must of put it there. I didn't.
He could have told me and I would've episode it back.
I went to Home Depot the next day and bought some epoxy and a water pressure gauge.
I went on line and found to reduce water pressure the screw/bolt has to be turned counter clockwise not clockwise like he was doing it. I got my water pressure down to 62 psi! Don't meet a new regulator!
I don't know if he is inexperienced or devious and wants to get me to pay for things I don't need. read more
