Who likes to get scans/images done? I don't. Maybe I'm in the minority, I'm not sure, but I'm just not a fan. It normally means there's some type of follow up needed at your doctors. Anyway, I needed to have a scan done and was kind of on a time crunch, due to follow up appointment, so I contacted precision imaging. They have three locations here in the Jacksonville area. After talking to the scheduler, the earliest appointment they had was for their St. Augustine location. I opted to take this appointment, despite it being a farther drive from my house. The scheduler gave me all the info I'd need prior to the appointment. I arrived and the parking lot had plenty of spaces. The entrance is inviting and looks farmhouse-chic. A nice touch when you're getting something you don't like having done. I walked into the office and the receptionist greeted me. She was super friendly, wearing a mask. She gave me some necessary paperwork that I filled out at the desk. She said to have a seat in the waiting area and they'd be right with me. I was early, so I sat for about 10 minutes then was brought back to a comfortable single room waiting area, fully equipped with a leather armchair for relaxing. This makes you feel more at ease. After about five minutes another woman brought me back to the imaging area. Explained the process and got to work. After about 15 minutes getting the necessary images done, she directed me to the exit and I was on my way.
