OMGOSH!! Talk'bout SOUTHERN Mississippi HOSPITALITY!! PRESLEY's OUTING (a beautiful rv park on the lake) in Moss Point, MS is owned and operated by Mr Lynn Presley, (Yes, he's a distant cousin of ELVIS!!). Lynn's dad started the rv park many years ago in the 1950s. So, the business continues to be family operated. And what a gem it is! The sprawling 40 acre park with over 100 full hookup rv sites reminds me of the TV show - "Happy Days" - right out of the 1950s!! BUT HERE'S THE REAL ZINGER!! I attempted to pay for our one nite stay upon arrival. Mr. Presley was in his golf cart and replied "We can take care of that later." By the next morning, we were getting the rv ready to pull out and I still had not heard back from Mr. Presley for payment of our stay. So I called him on my cell phone and told him we were leaving and wanted to settle-up our payment. He replied "Aren't you the gentleman from Texas from yesterday?" I said "Yes-sir. That'll be me." He replied "Well, yesterday was Texas Day. And you were the only fella checking in from Texas. So your stay is FREE - on me." Woah! Now ...you need to understand.... Mr. Presley is a true southern gentleman with a ton of southern charm and hospitality. Rare traits in the times we live. I was left speechless as was my wife Lynne. Its no wonder the Yelp reviews for Presley's Outing RV Park are OUTSTANDING!! We'll be back! Building positive customer relationships and loyalty is truly an art form and it pleases me to experience it first hand from a mighty fine southern gentleman.
