I was passing through the state and found this gem of a school. I live the name and flag, as apes are naturally good grapplers. Was warmly greeted at the door by the head instructor. The facility is extremely spacious with quality mats. The amenities are excellent, with full shower and training room. The instructor is top notch, an expert in his craft. I believe they do more nogi than gi but practice both. I happened to show up on a nogi session The student base are all very competitive yet friendly and welcoming. There was women in the mat which is a good sign. They have kids classes and kickboxing as well that seem very good. read more
