This Publix is always hit or miss, always one or the other and never in between. It's a considerably smaller store than your usual Publix, but they carry all of the essentials.
First, I'll address the cluster-fuck they call a parking lot. Having 2 one way lanes makes this lot a zoo. It has taken me forever to find a spot at times. Some people think it's appropriate to pick-up and/or drop people off at the door when there is only a one way driving lane, blocking the entire lot. It can definitely make someone want to avoid this location.
What makes this store hit or miss is the staff. When they are busy, the staff seems to be unfriendly along with not having enough registers open, creating longer than necessary lines. When the store is dead, I can be in and out in less than 5 minutes. There's a huge difference in the quality of service when they're dead.
Also, there is always an Atlanta Police Officer or a Fulton County Sheriff's office deputy on duty at all times at this store. That does usually thwart the panhandlers outside, but occasionally one will slip through the cracks and ask.
Overall, I don't love this store but I don't hate it either. It's average. read more
