A truly "centrally located" hotel doesn't exist in Paris because landmarks are spread out across the city & each arrondissement has unique things to see, do, & eat; however, the Pullman Montparnasse was as close to perfect for me. The street that it's on is equipped with grocery store Franprix & restaurant Ernest with other eateries nearby. Also within walking distance are two metro stations & the Jardin du Luxembourg. We booked two adjoining rooms which were more spacious than say, a boutique hotel. The Pullman was renovated in 2021 so everything felt new & updated. Clean, firm beds. Shower head had three water stream options. Just a heads up for us short girlies that the bathtub wall is quite high so be extra careful getting in & out. To access the lobby, ride the escalator to the 2nd floor. To operate elevator, enter your floor & you'll be directed to the correct door. Prompt, efficient service, all around. The woman who checked us in was thorough & informative, & any request we made to housekeeping was fulfilled or delivered to us within minutes. Upon check-in, you'll pay a per person, per day, tourism tax (I assume sort of like a resort fee.) Highly recommend staying at the Pullman Montparnasse if you don't want to be in the center of a busy, loud street but want easy access to livelier areas nearby.
