First: This place is near railroad tracks. I have a curse of accidently booking us near tracks. Horns sounds near the road crossings. However, the saving grace was the wall AC unit was literally above our heads in bed, so the white noise drowned out most of the train noise. Bonus, we were here for Cedar Point, and this location was literally minutes from the park. It was what we needed. It's a simple motel. It was a bit smelly with decade old cigarette smoke in the ceiling tiles. Some travel frebreeze really helped with it. Parking right outside your door, which is a bonus for motorcycle groups, or us unloading a car. 1 queen bed, microwave, mini fridge, bathroom as expected. Clean overall, free wifi, and coffee in the office in the mornings. Had no problem finding the happy temp in the shower, and the hot water lasted a long time. The mattress was good for 2 nights' sleep, and no one bothered us. We didn't need to use the pool, but there is one available. I still like these unique places that still use a physical key, and overall, our stay was good. I would stay again if I had the promise of ear plugs or white noise if you were a light sleeper like me. read more
