Was in the area and decided we had the taste for BBQ. We stopped at Smoked on High but they were closed until January 4th.
Yelped and found Ray Ray's 6 minutes away. Looked festive driving by so we decided to stop.
Parking sucks. Had to go around the block 4 times before finding a spot 2 blocks away.
Ordered the brisket sandwich, waffle fries and Mac n cheese. Also grabbed a side of pickled onions (nice touch!). The Brisket portion was generous and had just the right amount of smoke, mustard bbq sauce and juiciness. Waffle fries were abundant and again the right combo of seasoning and crunch without being greasy. The Mac n cheese was awesome!! Super cheesy and honestly I got the small size and glad I did because I was completely stuffed with all the food they give you. Definitely no complaints in the portion sizes.
The brewery was what you would expect from a brewery, minus the surprising amount of children there with parents (no judging, just noticing). Great choice of craft brews at a reasonable price. We had to try the CBD Mule which was listed at 10% alcohol, but had us waiting for the "hit" which never came. I would pass on that one in the future.
All in all it was a great first visit with the food being the most notable part. read more
