I hate to do this but I'm really not happy about my nails today ): I've been getting my nails done for years! This is my second time going to this nail salon & both times have had issues with the color of the gel polish I choose. The first time they did recommend I get a different color because it did not look like the color I had chosen so I do so & I appreciated the nail tech for that. Today was my second time there. I decided on the nail combo #2. I chose ballet pink 601 in DND polish. This is my go to color. So I know how it looks on me & I love it. To avoid situations like last time I chose a color I knew I loved. The color on my toes was 100% the color I chose. I got the manicure with the combo and asked for the $6 gel top coat thinking I could just add the clear coat to the regular polish because my nails are sensitive to getting the gel manicures now. There was some confusion with that and they ended up doing all gel manicure for the $6 price. The color gel on my hands was so much brighter than what I chose & by that time I just didn't say anything because I felt like I had already been a complicated customer with the confusion. But as I look at them more and more I'm so upset that you can clearly see they are not the same color. It does not match the 601 color they have on the samples. The nail techs were very kind and did great service. The manager I'm assuming seemed pretty annoyed with me she even told me they lost money with me. Which wasn't my intention. I was just going based on the price they advertise. I just think they should check their colors and make sure they match. Nearby nail salon but I don't think I'll be back.
