Neat little park in Schererville, Indiana. Our extended family has an annual picnic and generally is able to reserve this place...it is a perfect spot for the 100-some of us. There is a lot of room to spread out your bean bag games and have a water balloon toss. They even have a ball field if your group wants to hit the ball around. The covered pavilion fits about a dozen picnic tables to have a place for everyone to sit and eat, and stay out of the sun or rain. They also provide a large built in barbeque stand at the pavilion. There are basketball courts for those that wish to play, and a playground for the young kids to have something to do while the oldsters just catch up. There is also a large building when you enter the park where they have restrooms (very clean with soap and dryers), vending machines, and water fountains. This is really a nice park and is well maintained and kept up. Give it a try. read more
