This brand new addition to Capitol Hill is something to check out. Great outdoor seating in both the front and back of the large inside space. The staff is super friendly and well informed about the beers and the unique features in the design of the amazing inside space. Repurposed bus terminal counter for a back bar...very cool! Done with many other reclaimed materials. The wood and metal space just screams PNW. The food offerings have been good from the selections had to date on my visits. Portions are small, but so are the prices for downtown Seattle. The beer selection is 16 taps wide and rotating, so you should find something for any beer lover. They do have wine as well for non-beer drinkers, but no liquor on premise. On those beers, they are $5.50 regular price and $4.00 during happy hour, so you are hard pressed to find anywhere cheaper for drinks during their hours of operation daily.. Only negative so far, everything is ordered directly from the bar, so that could turn into a bit of bottleneck once they have the grand opening and generate larger crowds. You get a table number for food, and they have floor runners bring it out to you, so you don't have to listen for a number to be called.. Shuffleboard table is located in the back right for those upcoming inside days when summer slips away and you are forced inside versus those patios. Definitely worth a visit for any beer fan! Tip: You may want to give them a few weeks to dial it in; if you aren't used to the normal opening pains of a brand new restaurant of this size. read more
