On Saturday, I was hovering around the Mississauga-Brampton border running errands. I needed a drug store. I did a search and found this Rexall. I decided to drop by. This Rexall is in a plaza that was buzzing. Luckily, this store is in a corner of it, so it wasn't as crazy and there was tons of parking. I pulled into a parking spot and walked in. I love automatic doors, especially during a pandemic. It's a fairly large drug store. I found what I needed and ended up buying more items than expected. It helped that there were a bunch of sales happening. The skincare section was impressive. I managed to get a peel-off charcoal mask that was on sale. The snack items were wonderful. At this stage, I didn't have a basket and my hands were full, so photo-taking ceased. I got chocolate-covered coconut clusters. There was the option to get them fully dipped in either milk or dark chocolate, or have them drizzled with chocolate. I was impressed by the variety! There was a sale on Goody items. Since getting my hair cut, I tend to wear my hair down and needed a headband. I also got elastics that last longer, which will be great for when my hair gets longer. There was a sale where you get one Goody item and your second item is 50% off. This Rexall has an M&M Meats frozen section. I loved looking at the desserts and quesadillas. The ice cream section taunted me. A pleasant surprise was a Staples express section. When did that happen?! I love Staples (frankly, I miss browsing around), so a mini section to keep me content was wonderful! I don't miss school, but I still have an affection for back-to-school supplies right now. The lone Markham Rexall does not have a Staples express. Neither does the one in Whitchurch-Stouffville that I frequent twice a month. The best part of my experience was the male cashier. He was so nice and thoughtful. He saw how much stuff I had in my hands. Considering that I was about to buy a decent number of items, he gave me a plastic bag for free. Thank you! I got my Be Well barcode scanned off my phone. I wish that offers would automatically load, rather than tapping every offer that you want through the app. However, my points are accumulating nicely. I thanked the man. He let me know that if I walk through the door and it beeps, it's okay. Seriously, he was such a nice person. He's a keeper! I didn't set off the security alarm, which made my day, too. It's a great Rexall. I'd definitely return when I'm in Brampton again. (344) read more
