Found Rexhame Beach while searching for a dog friendly beach. Went on a weekday when there was perfect weather... Nice and sunny but not too hot and plenty of breeze. They have separate entrances for entrance and exit although not everybody was respecting that. Not a lot of masks worn and when we were going onto the beach people were coming the wrong way without masks which was annoying! It was not that crowded and people were practicing social distancing on the actual beach. Bring water shoes If you have them as it's very rocky. Small waves were fun for the kids to jump in and the water was surprisingly warm at 70+. I'm sure I will be visiting this beach often now that we have a fur baby & it's great you can bring him all year long vs other beaches that only allow off season. I saw a Porta potty, basketball court in the parking lot, a snack bar area with a table and a small little play structure. Parking lot was small so I'm guessing you might have to get there early on the weekend. There was also a life guard present. Non-resident day passes are available for $15 (Monday - Friday) and $20 (Saturday, Sunday, and holidays). After 5:00pm everyday is $5. Dog friendly leash only. I was surprised there weren't more dogs on the beach as I only saw a handful. read more
