There is no better dentist.
Dr. Mohrlock is officially the homie. He gets rid of that typical doctor-patient vibe and makes the whole thing a fun, yet very informative experience. He should run a seminar for teachers, but that's a different story.
I had originally come here because one day when I was flossing, I had somehow broken off a chunk of my molar. Don't ask me how, I think it's just become I'm insanely manly and strong (he's more likely to tell you poor dental care and decay), but none the less I needed help. I was fearing the worst right off the bat- a root canal procedure. At the time I hadn't had any dental insurance, so I was starting to sweat. I got on yelp, since I was very new to the area and didn't even know where dentists were. Quickly I found him, and made an appointment as soon as possible.
Now the office itself is easy to find, being in the "medical area" off of vista way. The staff behind the desk are great, and then I met Dr Mohrlock himself.
He has a very friendly demeanor, seeming almost eager to convey what he's doing using terminology the patient understands so that everyone understands what is happening. He abates fears by constantly reassuring any patient that has questions, and most importantly makes you laugh. Dude's got jokes.
Dr Mohrlock makes every visit very personal, remembering personal details one might have shared in passing conversation.
My tooth that was broken in half? He saved it for about 200. He also made miracles happen on molars my girlfriend failed to clean, saving them both when the had gaping holes on the side.
While visiting specialists, they constantly regard his work they see in out X-rays as "remarkable."
This doctor is incredibly experienced, knowledgable, and most importantly: skilled. He is all this while still being a person, keeping a very friendly and comfortable relationship dynamic.
