While at the VW van event in the area, formerly knows as Bayfield Volkfest, and now in Goderich, and enjoying the summer like weather at the end of September in 2025, we ventured out for a restaurant meal and found this gem at the local gold course called The Maitland. I was craving a schnitzel and they delivered. Friendly service from the staff there as they were just opening at noon that Friday and we were asked kindly to wait a bit before they opened. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal while seated at the corner table with windows looking out two different directions over the golf course. That itself, was a fantastic feature of dining her.
