Went here for dinner since it was right across the street from Blue Shutters Inn where we were staying for the weekend.
We called ahead to make reservations just an hour before. It was definitely crowded when we got there but they had several empty tables too. We got seated in the inner room by the window.
They bring complimentary bread which came with a really nice flavored oil sauce. I wasn't too hungry so ordered the minestrone soup (bowl) and the wedge salad to share. The hubs ordered the penne sausage pasta and the Italian lemon drink.
The soup was tasty rustic with veggies and a few beans. I expected the bowl size to be a bit larger. I ate it with the bread. The pasta was flavorful and was a pretty decent portion - had some leftovers.
For dessert we ordered the tiramisu to share with- it was nice creamy.
It's a nice restaurant with ample seating and cozy atmosphere. It had a very unique chandelier made of wine bottles.
Overall good experience. read more
