The best Labor Day weekend stay, at one of the best locations in Ogunquit. The lodge has three rules: Check in time 2-5pm; Always close front door; Let owner know if you are having breakfast. That's it. If you don't want to follow the rules you can stay somewhere else. The rooms are just like the pictures you see online, yes - there is a lot of decor all over the lodge. If you don't like it, you don't have to stay Here. I found the place to be comfortable, welcoming, and very convenient. We had breakfast at the ledge the first day, and then let the owner know that we would eat elsewhere the next days. No issues. I don't think this place is suitable for kids or people who like blank spaces and no color. Yes, it's quirky and if you can appreciate that you'll love It. Pro tip: do not break the rules.
