I usually love sip-and-paint events, but this one was a huge disappointment. The address on the event post led me to the wrong location--with no update given to ticket holders. After walking to the original spot and calling, the response I got was basically "too bad." The event was outdoors (not advertised), and we ended up carving Styrofoam wig heads with butter knives--not at all what the ad made it seem. I expected to paint a sturdy pre-made piece based on the promo image. The tools were poor, there weren't enough proper wine glasses, and even basic things like restrooms and a place to wash your hands weren't accounted for. Someone was told to rinse off paint with a garden hose. I've been to many creative workshops, and sadly, this one felt rushed, unprepared, and not worth the cost.
