Roots: The Brunch Experience is a must visit on Chicago's South Side! The atmosphere celebrates Black culture with a beautiful aesthetic, and the music made the entire experience even better. The staff was professional and welcoming from start to finish. One thing to know: reservations are required for dining (except for the bar), so be sure to plan ahead. The menu has plenty of options for everyone, but the lobster mac was the absolute star of the show. It was rich, flavorful, and hands down one of the best dishes I've had.
