Having spent the previous night at what I considered to be a 5-star establishment with dining to match, I was somewhat underwhelmed by both here at the popular Rose Revived Inn.
Bordered by the Thames River on one side and a somewhat busy road (for the area) on another, The Rose Revived Inn's riverside dining atmosphere is pleasant, pretty even, though I was underwhelmed by the meals I ate here. Still, with little competition in the immediate area it's easy to see why they remain a draw.
Most who dine here won't also be staying the night but I did. The room was clean and nice enough though very small. Air circulation was unmanageable as the window proved quite difficult to open and the location of a provided fan was inadequate in helping to move the air around in a satisfactory manner.
There's not a whole lot of choice in this area, for either lodging or dining and, as a result, I'd call everything provided by the Rose Revived Inn "good enough". read more
