I just want to protect people from having the same experience as me with this unprofessional company that lacks integrity. RS Solid Surfaces Inc. installed granite countertops in my new construction home. They are not level. If you take a leveler, there is over a 1 degree sag in the middle of the counter top. Within a week of moving in, I noticed two dark areas near the sink on my granite counter top. They grew over time. I assume it was water penetrating the sealant and staining the granite. I called RS Solid Surfaces 4 times, leaving detailed voicemails with an explanation before they returned my call. They informed me that the counter was fine when they installed it, but offered to send someone to "re" seal it. I honestly doubt it was ever sealed, since within a week water was penetrating into the granite. They asked me to take photos and email them, which I did, twice. Two weeks after the initial phone call, and 5 phone calls later, I am told that I probably did something to the granite to cause the sealant to fail. "It was fine when it was installed, with no issues, but now you're having issues." TI was kept in limbo a few more days. I reached out to my warranty representative, who informed me RS Solid Surfaces refuses to send someone to seal it. I have taken immaculate care of the granite. I've never cut food on it or left food on it, I use only granite cleaner to clean the counters, and I wipe up water immediately. RS Solid Surfaces gave me a bent, unsealed counter, and now refuse to fix it. It's just over 1 month old. Please consider shopping somewhere else, especially if prices are similar.
